• Our lab hosted 2016 Engineering Headstart Event, with 36 pupils from schools across the UK - this year on 'Let's Crush the Bridge Design'.
• Our lab hosted 2016 Brightest Watts Event for 40 pupils from Scottish schools - on 'Robots Climbing over the Fourth Road Bridge'

• We had a group picnic near Livingston. Everyone was learning Spanish by playng Uno!

• Tissue Mechanics Lab organised the 'Tissue Hiearchy and Heterogeneity Workshop' funded by UKIERI. 40 participants came for this great research networking event.
• Drug modelling group (Prof. Malathi) from Annamalai University, India visted our lab for 2 weeks.
